Xerophile: Cactus Photographs from Expeditions of the Obsessed Book (Revised Edition)

Xerophile is brought to you by the people behind Cactus Store and serves as a visual collection of rare and extraordinary desert plants captured in their wild, remote habitats

Curated from the archives of 25 diverse plant obsessives—including PhD botanists, bankers, art teachers, and cancer researchers the book spans 80 years of field exploration and features 350+ photographs with new and expanded descriptive notes

Highlights unique flora such as a two-leaved plant living for millennia in Namibia, poisonous succulents used by hunters in Angola, high-altitude cacti in Bolivia, underground-burrowing Mexican cacti, bat-pollinated cacti in Brazil, and Galápagos lava-field species
